An excellent opportunity for a commis chef who is looking for a work life balance, this role is day time shifts and a maximum of 40 hours a week. This position is for a commis chef to work in a private nursing home, that caters for clients, visitors and members of staff. In this job you will be providing high quality, nutritionally balanced and visually appealing meals whilst also catering for special dietary requirements, but full training will be given. In this role you will be working with one or two others in the kitchen so it is a small team and it is important that you are always respectful and show dignity to the clients.
A Commis Chef who has a level one or equivalent food safety certificate and a recognised catering qualification. Previous experience working in fresh food kitchens is also required but it is also important that you have good communication skills, a positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.
