An exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager is available at a housing group in a Extra Care Scheme. You will be responsible for the food preparation, cooking and service delivery for the designated site taking into account nutritional needs for older people and individual dietary needs. In this role of Chef Manager you will work closely with the Catering Services Manager in overseeing front and back house audits, team management, budget and financial controls, stock management and menu costing, whilst also implementing and maintaining all legal aspects of running a kitchen.
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced head or sous chef with previous experience managing and delivering a high quality operation. It is essential that you have good leadership, people management, motivation and communication skills.
