An exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager is available at a central preparation unit located near Wakefield. The venue is a popular tourist attraction and gets very busy during weekends and school holidays. In this position of central preparation chef manager you will be responsible for managing a team that produce a portfolio of sandwiches, grab and go items, snacks, sweet and savoury bakes to be sold in different venues around the park. In this role Chef Manager you will oversee the stores function of purchasing, stock rotation and counts to ensure required quantities are available to meet the demands of changeable trading times, whilst also implementing and maintaining all legal aspects of running a kitchen and will have a strong input on the menu choices.
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced head or sous chef with previous experience managing and delivering high quality operation of a catering production unit. It is essential that you have good leadership, people management, motivation and communication skills.
