This hotel is in the middle of a major refurbishment and not just front of house. The owners are upgrading the dining options and the kitchens and wants to put the hotel back on the map as a 5 star luxury destination hotel in the North.
The head chef is currently seeking Chef de Parties to help to push the standards forward in the hotel. The Head Chef will have autonomy on the menus and this is an exciting time to join the team. The hotel currently offers rosette dining in the fine dining restaurant, along with a lighter bar menu and afternoon teas. There is also a busy all year round banqueting department which caters for private functions, parties and weddings. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in an up and coming kitchen where you will be working with enthusiastic committed chefs.
This role would suit an experienced Commis Chef looking for the next step up. Previous experience at a similar venue is important, all Chefs applying must have a proven track record working to a minimum of 1 AA rosette level. An eagerness to learn and develop is needed for this role.
