A gastro pub that has recently been refurbished internally is seeking a Chef de Partie to take on this opportunity to work at a property that has high standards and an excellent reputation. The pub which is situated in the stunning south Yorkshire countryside, is the hub of the village, popular with both locals and visitors to the area. The kitchen of the property has a team of four chefs, the food is made with natural, fresh ingredients that are sourced locally where possible. As well as traditional pub classics the menu also consists of modern British dishes and to keep the menus interesting they are seasonally changing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join a stable team under the guidance of a head chef that has a 2 AA rosette background
Requirements:
A Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients for a minimum of 2 years. The role needs a chef who is enthusiastic, and committed to achieve, is comfortable working on the sauce section and has a good knowledge of current food safety regulations.
