A boutique country inn with rooms that serves rosette level food is seeking to appoint a Chef de Partie to join the team of six chefs working in the 2 kitchens. In this role of Chef de Partie you will be working with good quality, fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally to create dishes for the fine dining menu as well as the traditional pub classics served in the bar. The property is a busy venue for events and banquets. As Chef de Partie you will be expected to be capable of controlling your section in the kitchen ensuring that you are fully prepared for service. The Michelin trained head chef will be looking for a candidate that is keen to continue to learn and who is hard working and enthusiastic in the kitchen.
A hard working Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie who has a minimum 2 years working in quality fresh food kitchens is required for this role. Knowledge on a number of sections in the kitchen would be an advantage as you may be moving around the sections whilst receiving continuous training in the role.
