A country house hotel with a relaxed atmosphere is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the team of five chefs in the kitchen. In this role of Chef de Partie you will prepare dishes for the prestigious restaurant at the property which has a table d’hote menu along side tasting menus. The venue also caters for events, weddings and afternoon teas and is very popular with locals. The Head Chef has full autonomy to create the menus with the restaurant winning awards and dining accolades for the dishes based on classic cooking but prepared with modern twists whilst letting the excellent ingredients be the star attraction. The fresh seasonal produce is purchased locally as much as possible and much of it is grown in the kitchen garden.
A very strong Commis Chef or a Chef de Partie who have good experience working in high quality, fresh food kitchens. The ability to take control of your section in the kitchen is essential for this role as you will be expected to manage it on a daily basis whilst under the guidance of the senior chefs.
