A private school is recruiting for a Chef de Partie to assist in the catering provision for both daytime and boarding pupils. In this role you will be working with a talented team of chefs providing breakfasts, lunches and suppers for both day pupils and boarders. There is a seasonally rolling menu in place consisting of dishes made from seasonal fresh produce using modern techniques. In this position of chef de partie you will work 5 out of 7 days including weekends but there will be occasional when functions are held at the school. During the academic year there is the opportunity to work overtime which is paid hourly on top of the salary.
A Chef de Partie who has experience of cooking dishes from mainly fresh ingredients, in a busy environment. It is essential that you have an enhanced DBS and all relevant food safety and allergen training certificates. You must demonstrate a real passion for food and service, have good communication and man management skills, as well as having excellent presentation.
