An excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie who is looking for a work life balance, this role is day time shifts and a maximum of 40 hours a week. This position is for a Chef de Partie to work in a care home that is part of a progressive company, that caters for up to 40 residents at any one time. In this job you will be providing nutritionally balanced and visually appealing fresh food meals whilst also catering for special dietary requirements, but training will be given. In this role you will be working with one the Head Chef in the kitchen so it is a small team and you will liaise with the care staff to ensure residents needs are catered for.
Chance to progress to head chef level.
A Chef de Partie who has a a proven track record and a minimum of 2 years experience of working in fresh food care home kitchens, with an insight of dietary needs and special diets is required to take on this position. A chef who has good communication skills, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to not only provide meals for the residents but also cater for parties and birthdays etc… to make a difference. It is important that you have a level 2 food safety certificate.
