A strong chef is required to join a popular small country house hotel as a Chef de Partie working in a team of six in the kitchen. In this role of Chef de Partie you will be preparing modern British dishes from fresh ingredients for the award winning restaurant at the hotel. The hotel is also busy throughout the year with weddings; functions, afternoon teas and Sunday lunches. The role will require you to be capable of running your own section, ensuring it is organised and prepared for service whilst having the flexibility to move around the sections in the kitchen to support and supervise the junior chefs.
A Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie who has been working in similar hotels with both award winning restaurants and banqueting departments is required. It is important that all applicants are standards focused with the ability to follow instructions on preparation and presentation of the dishes leaving the kitchen whilst also helping with supervision of the Commis Chefs.
