The head chef of a luxury 4* Country Spa hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in the management of the banqueting and conference department. In this role of sous chef you will lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are not only maintained but also pushed forwards. The property is a busy venue all year round and provides for intimate gatherings, parties, conferences and elaborate wedding celebrations. The dining options are varied for the rooms and spaces available and the menus are designed using seasonally changing fresh ingredients.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 2 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Sous Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and is able to work to tight deadlines is ideal for this role.
