Banqueting Sous Chef – SB2367 Full Time Permanent

An independent family run hospitality complex set in the beautiful Hertfordshire Countryside is currently seeking to recruit a Banqueting Sous Chef to join the busy kitchen teams. The complex consists of a 4* Hotel with a fine dining restaurant, a casual dining restaurant on the property, a restaurant that serves afternoon teas and separate function areas across the site. The property has an excellent reputation as a venue for weddings, ceremonies, family celebrations, conferences and meetings. n this role or banqueting sous chef you will assist to lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are maintained. The property is a busy venue all year round and provides for intimate gatherings and elaborate wedding celebrations. The dining options are varied for the rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience.

Requirements/ Responsibilities for Banqueting Sous Chef:

  • The successful candidate MUST have previous experience in a similar environment – i.e. 4 star hotel with a fine dining restaurant, or a strong banqueting background or a busy fresh food operation.
  • MUST be able to demonstrate their interest in food and a passion for consistently achieving to their full potential.

Please note that due to our rural location it is recommended that candidates have their own transport.
