The head chef of a luxury award winning Country hotel is seeking a banqueting Sous Chef to assist in the management of the banqueting and conference department. In this role or banqueting sous chef you will assist to lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are maintained. The property is a busy venue all year round with a capacity of 240 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh food predominately to customer requirements, corporate dining, weddings and parties. The dining options are varied for the rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience.
A Sous Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 2 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Sous Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and is able to work to tight deadlines is ideal for this role.
