A banqueting hotel, located in Lincoln is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in the management of a brigade of 10 chefs. The conference and banqueting department has a separate kitchen, where as Sous Chef you can help lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are maintained. The property is a busy venue with a capacity of 400 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh food for conferences, corporate dining, weddings and parties. The dining options are varied for the multiple rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 2 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Sous Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and is able to work to tight deadlines is ideal for this role.
