A luxury hotel located in the heart of the Lake District is seeking a Banqueting Chef to take charge of the banqueting kitchen at the venue. The conference and banqueting department has a kitchen attached to the main function room, where you lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are maintained. The property is a busy venue with a capacity of 300 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh seasonal menus for conferences, corporate dining, weddings and parties. As Banqueting Chef you will be responsible for the ordering and staffing of the kitchen as well as taking time to liaise with guests on their menu requirements. During the peak season the property is very busy so as Banqueting Chef you will need to be capable of running the dining operation whilst under pressure.
A Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 4 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and has good customer service skills is ideal for this role.
