A banqueting venue, located near Bolton is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in the management of a brigade of 6 banqueting chefs. The conference and banqueting department has a kitchen, which is due to be replaced shortly, where you can help lead the team of chefs from the front ensuring high standards are maintained. The property is a busy venue with a capacity of 400 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh food for conferences, corporate dining, weddings and parties. The dining options are varied for the multiple rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience. During the peak season the property is very busy so needs a banqueting Sous Chef who is capable of running the dining operation whilst under pressure.
A Sous Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 4 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Sous Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and is able to work to tight deadlines is ideal for this role.
