This role of Chef is based in the kitchen of a Bistro café offering simple, contemporary cuisine in a busy area of Liverpool. Due to the opening hours of the café you will mainly be working 8am to 6pm. The Cafe is newly opened so is looking for a chef that can help to build the reputation in the area for both visitors and regular customers.
It is important that all chefs applying have good basic all round cooking skills and some knowledge of contemporary cuisine would also be an advantage to this role. A stable background which shows longevity with previous employers in good quality, fresh food kitchens is essential. This role would suit a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef that is keen to work in a small team and wanting to expand their cooking skills.
