The head chef of a busy centrally located town hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to assist with the running of all sections in the kitchen to ensure smooth service operations. The hotel currently offers fine dining in two restaurant, along with a lighter bar menu and afternoon teas. There is also a busy all year round banqueting department which caters for private functions, parties and weddings. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in an up and coming kitchen where you will be responsible for all of the ordering and stock rotation and also be expected to cover in the absence of the head chef and assist with the training of the junior members of the team.
Requirements:
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef looking to work in a progressive company. Previous experience at a similar venue is important, all Chefs applying must have a proven track record working in fresh food corporate hotels. An eagerness to learn and develop and evidence of being strong on admin is needed for this role.
