The Head Chef of a fantastic 4* coastal hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of 10 chefs working in the kitchen. The restaurant at the hotel offers rosette standard dishes that change regularly with classic recipes given modern interpretations prepared using locally grown produce wherever possible. There is a bar which offers lighter snacks, afternoon teas are served in the lounge overlooking the sea, and this is a very popular location for weddings, events and private functions. This is a great place for a junior Sous Chef to work, very busy and plenty of experience to be gained as you will be working across all sections of the kitchen and assisting to support the junior members of the team.
An experienced senior Chef de Partie or junior Sous who has been working in kitchens where you were preparing fresh ingredients to create dishes to a high standard. The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment is essential for this role.
