The Head Chef of this 4 Star hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to assist him to deliver a quality service at this fast paced, high volume dining operation. The hotel has a 60 seater restaurant but is primarily a wedding, banqueting and function venue catering for large numbers at any one time. The kitchen has a team of 4 chefs so it is important that you are able to work well with others in order to achieve your common goal of smooth service times. in this role of sous chef you will have an opportunity to have an input on the fresh food menus.
A Sous Chef who has a minimum of 2 years experience working in a multi outlet hotel and is used to running a busy section in a high volume, fresh food operation is needed for this role. It is important that you can upkeep high standards of cooking and can support the Head Chef where necessary to make their roles easier. This role would be ideal for a Junior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career.
