The Head Chef of a very popular restaurant in Rotherham, is seeking a Sous Chef who can assist with the creation of dishes. In this role you will be required to cater for the restaurant which offers high quality, modern British all day dining. As Sous Chef you will also be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and that all of the CDPs and Commis Chefs are aware of their roles as well as training them to progress their knowledge. You will be able to have input into the menus which are changing regularly. This is a great opportunity to work with a talented, team that is striving to push standards forwards, with the backing of the owner who is investing in the property and has just installed a brand new kitchen with the latest equipment.
Requirements:
All Sous Chefs applying for this position must have all round cooking skills gained from fresh food establishments with a minimum of 1rosette standard. You must have a calm nature and be able to work well under pressure, this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate forward thinking Sous Chef.
