A Chef de Partie is required to work at a high quality, fresh food café/restaurant where the menu is seasonal and changed frequently. You will be working 40 hours per week, on shift patterns so evenings, weekends and bank holidays are covered on a rota basis. In this role of Chef de Partie you will be assisting the small team to prepare and serve all dishes to the high standards required. The café bar caters for a varied range of customers throughout the day and into the evening, the food offered is focused on seasonal, fresh and healthy, with a wide variety of deli items and cakes alongside a regular menu. The property also deliver high-volume items for events, festivals and conferences that take place at the venue. This venue is located in the city centre making it easy to commute to from all areas of South Yorkshire.
This role needs a Chef de Partie who has the experience of working in a busy food operation, preparing fresh ingredients and also preparing and delivering buffets, wedding parties and conferences. You must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and also hold a minimum level 2 food safety certificate.
