The Owners of this well run hotel is seeking a Head Chef who can continue to develop and improve the food offered further. The hotel, which has recently had a complete refurbishment, offers 2 rosette dining in the restaurant, and is a very popular venue for leisure, dining, wedding and conference events. As head chef your initial priority will be create a restaurant menu to inspire local patrons, and an afternoon tea menu that encourages loyal local business. You will be leading a brigade of 5 chefs so good leadership skills are also required. This is an exciting role and as Head Chef you will be required to complete all necessary paperwork and ensure the kitchen is performing financially.
This role would suit a Head Chef who has a minimum of 2 years previous experience at a similar venue, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills gained from within hotel kitchens where you were serving a number of different dining options from one kitchen. Excellent knowledge of current hygiene regulations is also essential for this role.
