A four star hotel in Dorset is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team
The Head Chef of a four star hotel is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to the kitchen to work closely with them especially in respect of the management of the other chefs and running the department when necessary.The hotel’s relaxed fine dining restaurant has a focus on seafood dishes due to the coastal location of the property which ensures the freshest catch each day. The hotel also offers a separate menu which features sharing platters and light bites. As Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working across all sections in the kitchen offering strength in all areas whilst ensuring service times run smoothly and all sections are kept clean and tidy.
A talented Sous Chef who has strong all round cooking skills but is also confident of their ability to run a busy kitchen operation when required to do so is required for this role.The ability to lead others whilst ensuring that you keep up to date with your own work is essential.A background working in high quality, fresh food operations is necessary for this position.
The hotel has opened in line with Government guidelines in order to ensure all staff remain safe within the working environment.
