A popular restaurant and function venue in Cheshire is recruiting for a Head Chef
A Head Chef is required to run the busy kitchen of a busy dining venue which has a restaurant as well as a function room. A ‘hands on’ role working in the kitchen alongside your team ensuring that they are all working to the high standards the venue has become known for consistently. The venue offers menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner with seasonal dishes prepared using local ingredients with all dishes prepared from scratch onsite. In this role you will have an input on the restaurant menus that are created by the Group Executive Chef as well as helping to create bespoke meus for the weddings and private events hosted at the property.
The role needs an experienced Head Chef or very strong Sous Chef who is happy to work under an Executive Head Chef whilst being responsible for the running of the kitchen operation ensuring the company standards are always met. As this is a bust venue it is essential that all chefs are used to preparing fresh food for large numbers of covers whilst also having previous experience of catering for functions. Good kitchen and team management skills are essential for this role.
