A Sous Chef role is available at a busy, food led pub situated in Berkshire
A popular fresh food pub which has a busy restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of seven chefs working in the kitchen of the property. The restaurant at the pub seats 60+ covers with menus featuring classic pub dishes as well as more modern British dishes to offer the customers a variety. All dishes are prepared from scratch onsite using fresh, seasonal ingredients. As Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working on all sections whilst supporting the Head Chef with the supervision, training and management of the junior chefs to ensure that they are all capable of working to the company expectations.
A strong Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef who has a similar background working in busy, fresh food restaurants or pubs is needed to take on this position. The ability to cook on all sections delivering high standards of cooking whilst working under pressure is essential.
