A country inn situated in the Moreton in the Marsh region of Gloucestershire is seeking a Sous Chef
An opportunity is available for a Sous Chef to join the small kitchen team working at a pub with rooms that has a 50 cover restaurant. The menus at the pub change regularly with the chefs taking advantage of the excellent local produce available which allows them to closely follow the seasons as Sous Chef you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the menus. As there is a small kitchen team you will need to have all round cooking skills whilst also being expected to run the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off.
A strong Chef de Partie looking to step up in their career into their first Sous Chef role would be ideal for this role. All round cooking skills with knowledge of all sections as well as the ability to lead others in the kitchen and take control of the department when needed is required. A chef who wishes to continue learning in order to further their ability of supervising others.
