A Sous Chef role is now available at a luxury spa hotel located in Hertfordshire
The Head Chef of a highly regarded spa hotel is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to their kitchen team who is capable of supporting them with the day to day running of the department and can take full control when required to. As the hotel is mainly a spa venue the menus feature modern British dishes that are healthy and well balanced making the most of the fresh, seasonal produce available from their suppliers. As Sous Chef you will be expected to have all round cooking abilities allowing you to work on any section in the kitchen but also run service when required to do so.
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef who has been working in a high volume, all fresh food kitchen ideally within a hotel operation although other backgrounds will be considered. As well as being a talented chef it is also important that you are a strong team leader who can take control of a team of chefs to ensure that service runs smoothly at all times.
