A privately owned restaurant & bar in Liverpool is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team
Working as a Sous Chef at a restaurant and bar that offers its diners menus featuring modern dishes with classic British flavours as well as international influences. This is a popular dining venue with a high standard of cooking that regularly serves 120 covers at the weekend with all dishes prepared from high quality, fresh ingredients by the team of ten chefs in the kitchen. There is also the option for customers to have use of the private dining room at the venue for special events. The Head Chef is seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with them who is organised in their approach to work with a calm manner in the kitchen especially when directing the junior chefs.
This particular position requires an experienced Sous Chef who has been working in high quality, fresh food operations at this level most recently. An all round knowledge of the sections of the kitchen alongside good kitchen management knowledge is also essential for this role.
