A Country House Hotel located in Roxburghshire is seeking a Sous Chef
A Sous Chef position is now available at a country hotel that has a new Head Chef who is implementing new standards of cooking with a focus on modern Scottish dining with menus taking full advantage of local producers as well as the properties own kitchen garden. The hotel operates a fine dining menu in the main restaurant but also offers a bistro style dining in the informal restaurant, afternoon teas and private dining. This is a good opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a kitchen that has full autonomy on the menus with a team of eight chefs working hard to raise the profile of the property as a leading dining venue in the region.
This position requires a Sous Chef who has been working in similar, high quality, fresh food kitchens ideally within a country house hotel although this is not essential. An ambitious chef who wants to help lead a passionate team of chefs whilst working closely with a Head Chef who is hungry for success would be ideal.
