A Junior Sous Chef position has become available at a four star hotel located in Buckinghamshire
The Head Chef of a four star, 100+ bedroom hotel is currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of 10+ chefs working at the property. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will work closely with the senior chefs to ensure that the cooking standards always achieve the standards that they have set and assist with the training of the junior members of the team. As Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to bring cooking strengths to the kitchen with the ability to work on all sections, remaining calm under pressure within the Brasserie restaurants open plan kitchen and ensuring the banqueting departments service times run smoothly according to the banquet sheets.
A strong Chef de Partie seeking to move up the kitchen ladder or a Sous Chef from a smaller hotel seeking to work in a larger property would both be ideal for this role. All round cooking skills with knowledge of all sections as well as good supervisory skills are both essential.
