A four star hotel in Cumbria that has a busy dining operation is seeking a Junior Sous Chef
The Head Chef of a hotel that is a popular dining venue with residents and locals/ visitors to the area is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of ten chefs working in the kitchen. The hotel operates a one AA Rosette modern Brasserie style restaurant which has gained one AA Rosette but also has a pub that offers traditional bar meals for all day dining and has private dining rooms too. The hotel specialises in creating uncomplicated dishes that are prepared using high quality fresh produce and are served in a relaxed atmosphere. As Junior Sous Chef you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the menus and specials making this a perfect role for a creative chef.
This role would suit a Chef de Partie who has good all round cooking skills who has ideally been working in a one AA Rosette property but is seeking to move up in their career. The ability to maintain cooking standards whilst working under pressure in a busy kitchen is essential for this role.
