A Junior Sous Chef position is available at a popular hotel located in the Windermere area of Cumbria
The Head Chef of a well established hotel is currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at the property serving the restaurant, bar, afternoon tea service and the conference/ banqueting department. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to have all round cooking skills with the expectation that you can run most sections in the kitchen whilst also assisting with the supervision of the junior chefs in the team. Additionally you will be required to work closely with the Sous Chef including deputising for them on their days off and annual leave.
All chefs applying for this role should have stable CVs with plenty of experience working in high volume, multi-outlet, fresh food kitchens. Previous experience working at Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level is essential as you will need strong cooking skills but should also be a confident team leader.
