A multi-outlet Kent hotel is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to run the pastry department in the kitchen
The Head Chef of a high quality, multi-outlet hotel is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to take responsibility for the running of the pastry kitchen at the property. The hotel is used for weddings, special events and conferences but is also a very popular spa venue so as a result offers its guests healthy, well balanced meals. As Head Pastry Chef you will be leading a small team of pastry chefs preparing the desserts for the hotel’s restaurant that offers a high quality buffet lunch service followed by a TDH and ‘a la carte’ menu for the evening service as well as catering for the popular afternoon tea service.
A Head Pastry Chef who has experience running the pastry section in a high volume, multi-outlet hotel kitchen is required for this position. The role needs a strong, talented chef who is also a confident team leader with excellent admin skills who can organise a busy department effectively.
