An exciting Head Chef role is available at a prestigious venue in South Yorkshire
An experienced Head Chef is required to lead the kitchen of a venue that hosts special events, weddings and corporate events with a wide range of clientele catered for. This is a multi-outlet dining venue that can host a number of different events at once so requires a Head Chef who is capable of coordinating a busy department servicing a variety of functions. In this role you will be expected to ensure that the food and beverage production/ delivery if of the high standards expected at the venue and remains within the budget constraints whilst managing the team of four working in the kitchen. The management of this venue are seeking a chef who can bring energy and new ideas to the menus in order to further boost the dining operation.
This role needs an experienced Head Chef who has an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate as well as C&G 7061/7062 or equivalent. It is important that all chefs applying to the position have a background working with corporate buffets and special events where you were cooking for large numbers. As well as being a creative chef it is also necessary that you have a proven track record in managing budgets, GP costings and staff costs. All chefs should be flexible as you may be required to work at others venues within the company during quieter periods.
