A Head Chef role is available at a modern, fresh food pub located in Derbyshire
A high volume pub that offers its customers high quality, modern pub food is seeking a Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen. The pub offers all day dining with the pub serving 200 covers on the busiest days, as a result it needs a Head Chef who can organise the kitchen and team of chefs to ensure that they are fully prepared for service and that service runs smoothly with you leading from the front in a hands on role. As well as cooking you will also be responsible for the financial performance of the kitchen ensuring that you closely control the costs so that you remain with budget without affecting the quality of the dining.
All chefs applying to this role should be currently working as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high volume, fresh food kitchen either in a branded property or part of a small group. A strong manager who can lead from the front whilst also being responsible for the financial performance of the department.
