A fresh food pub located in Berkshire is recruiting for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen
A Head Chef is required to lead the kitchen of a good quality, fresh food pub which is busy throughout the year. The pub seats 60 covers with menus featuring modern British pub dishes created with fresh, seasonal produce onsite by a team of seven chefs working in the kitchen. This a busy dining operation that needs a ‘hands on’ Head Chef who will lead the kitchen from the front and ensure that service is fully controlled with the high standards of cooking expected by the customers being achieved at all times. The role will also offer you the opportunity to have an input on the menus working closely with the Group Head Chef.
All chefs applying for this role should have been working as a Head Chef or are a very strong Sous Chef used to work in high quality, food led pubs. All chefs should have good all round cooking skills with the ability to manage a team who are working under pressure whilst also taking control of the kitchen paperwork.
