A Sous Chef is required to join the kitchen of a village pub located in South Leicestershire
A popular village pub that is privately owned is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to the kitchen which has received a lot of investment recently.This is a pub which focuses of high quality dining serving up to 120 covers during busy service times.The pub offers its diners modern British dishes with everything cooked from scratch focusing on using produce from local suppliers where possible, as Sous Chef you will be working in a kitchen with free reign to create their own menus. In this role you will be working in a team of seven chefs in the kitchen offering strength across the sections to the Head Chef and supporting them with the supervision of the junior chefs.
A Sous Chef with similar experience working in a high quality, fresh food pub environment is needed to take on this role. It is important that you work well within a team but can also install the discipline needed to run busy service times when required.All chefs should be used to working in kitchens where you were cooking in a modern British style.
