A privately owned hotel in Gwynedd is seeking to appoint a Head Chef to the busy kitchen
The owners of a popular hotel are seeking a Head Chef who can work closely with them to ensure that the food service at the hotel is high quality. In this role of Head Chef you will be serving the restaurant (dinner and Sunday lunch service) and the lounge bar as well as catering for events/ functions and coach parties. The kitchen has a team of four chefs who you will manage, organise and train to ensure that they are working to your standards. As Head Chef you will have autonomy to create your own menus and liaise with suppliers to source the best local produce whilst ensuring that you reach your financial targets including GP.
The owners would prefer an experienced Head Chef but will consider CVs from strong Sous Chefs seeking their first Head Chef role. A chef with an easy going personality who has high standards but is not driven by awards would be ideal. It is important that as well as having all round cooking skills you are also capable of achieving financial targets consistently and completing all paperwork on time.
*This is a permanent role*
