A Group Executive Chef role is available at a fresh food pub company
A growing pub company is seeking to appoint a Group Executive Chef to oversee the multiple kitchens of the pubs located in the North West of England and North Wales. The pubs in the company serve menus filled with fresh, homemade food receiving positive reviews from their customers. In the role of Group Executive Chef you will be required to source, design and cost the dishes; liaise with suppliers to get best prices; assist with labour and food margins; take charge of the recruitment and training processes whilst working closely with the Head Chefs in the units. As a result this is a varied and challenging, hands on role within a group that is moving forward and building a strong reputation.
This position needs a strong Head Chef or Executive Head Chef who still wants to work ‘hands on’ in kitchens but also has a passion for developing businesses in order to maximise profits without allowing standards to slip. All chefs must be well informed on kitchen finances with excellent admin abilities and the ability to create company wide kitchen strategies as well as mature communication skills to deal with your team, senior management and outside suppliers. A background based in good quality, fresh food pubs is an essential requirement for this role.
