A Banquet Sous Chef role is available in a newly restored separate banqueting and conference department, at a luxury 4 star hotel.
The Executive Chef of a four star, multi-outlet hotel is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef to assist in the provision of the conference and banqueting side of the dining operation which offers facilities for civil weddings and wedding breakfasts, meetings, conferences and events. The conference and banqueting department is capable of hosting events for over 120 covers to an exceptionally high standard.As Banquet Sous Chef you will need to be organised for each separate event whilst also assisting in the supervision of chefs working alongside you ensuring that each event sticks to strict timing schedules.
This role would suit an experienced and stable Banqueting Chef who has a lot of previous banqueting experience in their previous roles. The ability to work in a kitchen where the chefs are working under pressure and preparing all fresh food for large numbers of covers is essential.
