A North Yorkshire country house hotel is recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to join the property
A privately owned hotel that has built a strong reputation for offering high quality dining is seeking to appoint a Head Chef to the kitchen to take control of the department and the team of six chefs working under you.The restaurant at the hotel has achieved two AA Rosette status which you will be expected to maintain by creating seasonal menus that feature modern British dishes which highlight the fantastic produce available locally whilst showcasing your talent and flair in the kitchen.As Head Chef you will remain ‘hands on’ in the kitchen spending time to share your knowledge with your team in order to train them so that they are all capable of working to the standards that you put into place.
All chefs applying for this role should be experienced Head Chefs who has plenty of experience working in two AA Rosette hotels at a senior level in the kitchen.A talented chef who is also a fantastic motivator who can make sure that the kitchen team can deliver the award winning standards the hotel is known for but also manage the kitchen paperwork and finances would be ideal for this role.
